Scott McLaughlin with the Hyper PRO Racer (sans bodywork) and his Fujitsu sponsored sprint kart at Todd Road.
Fresh from its first shake down tests, the Hyper PRO Racer - sans bodywork - made its first public appearance at the Todd Road Karting complex, where Pro racer ambassador, Scott McLaughlin tried it on for size.

Kart star, McLaughlin – and his team, who was practising for the City of Melbourne Titles, had the chance to take a close look at the machine and were extremely impressed. The Hyper PRO Racer has been designed as the next logical step for drivers like Scott and the 16-year-old Queenslander was full of praise – “It’s a credit to the guys that they have put together this new and vital step for young karters – it is truly unique. When you sit in it you feel like you are in the cockpit of an open wheel race car and everything is exactly where it should be ... I can’t wait to drive it and I’m really looking forward to helping develop the Hyper PRO Racer.”
