CARNAGE FOR HYPER RACER AT THE ISLAND. PHILLIP ISLAND 28 Rotax Max's fronted for Round 2 at Phillip Island. But for the Hyper Racer drivers it was a mixed day. Shaun Trounson and Patrick Atherton had a good day finishing 6th in both the Light and Heavy classes. Dean Crooke, suffering with a dragging brake, finished 5th in the lights. But Brad Stebbing and Mark Wicks had the big drama's. Stebbing crashing in the practice session and Wicks in the 2nd heat. Wicks had won the first heat, but with a DNF in the second and a 3rd in the final, it was a day he'd rather forget. Brad Stebbing before the carnage. Wicks arrives back from Heat 2. .... Patrick Atherton. A good day. Shaun Trounson. His best day so far. Dean Crooke spins out of the lead in Heat 3
